In memory of Dr. Nick Wang
Dr. Wang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery who practices the full scope of the specialty. He has special interests in dento-alveolar surgery, dental implant and bone grafting surgeries, orthognathic surgery, facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. He is also a strong believer in volunteer work for the communities. He has traveled to various countries like Peru, Jamaica and Honduras providing dental surgery, cleft lip and palate surgeries to the underserved populations.
A native Californian, Dr. Wang obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Fullerton with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. He further pursued a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) at the University of Connecticut. Upon graduating from University of Connecticut, he returned to California to complete a year of General Practice Residency (G.P.R) at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Medical Center.
Dr. Wang further attended medical school, obtained a degree in Doctor of Medicine (M.D) and completed his general surgery/anesthesia internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He eventually completed post graduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University where he served as chief resident his last year of residency.
Dr. Wang strives to create a low stress and positive environment for his patients. His goal is to assure that each patient has a pleasant, relaxed and pain-free experience.
